American Church Group of North Carolina agent Bruce Harriman is passionate about a lot of things, but serving churches is at the top of the list. He has more than 29 years of experience as an insurance professional. What’s more, Bruce has been with American Church Group of North Carolina since the beginning, when he helped launch the agency in 1999. Thanks to his many years of hard work and dedication, Bruce has helped build the agency into one of the largest, serving churches and ministries in the state.
Bruce and his family are active members of their home church. Bruce serves on the elder board, and he’s also served as a missionary and youth pastor.
When Bruce isn’t tending to the insurance needs of his ministry clients, Bruce enjoys barbequing for friends and neighbors. He enjoys bringing people together to enjoy food and fellowship with one another.

American Church Group of North Carolina agent Curtis Knapp began his insurance career in 1996 and joined American Church Group of North Carolina when the agency opened three years later. Since then, Curtis’s hard work and dedication to the ministries he serves has significantly contributed to the agency’s growth.
Curtis an active member of his church, where he has served as treasurer, board member, and teacher. Curtis is actively involved in his church’s van ministry, so he knows firsthand the ins and outs of managing the risks associated with church-owned vehicles.

American Church Group of North Carolina agent Robert Martin has more than 16 years' experience in the church insurance industry. He has served churches and related ministries with our agency since 2011.
Robert and his family are active members of their church. One of Robert’s passions is ministering to his community’s homeless population.

American Church Group of North Carolina agent Daniel Burrell began his insurance career in 1991, he joined the agency in 2015.
He is an active member of his church, where he volunteers with Operation Inasmuch, a soup kitchen, and Meals on Wheels. When he’s not with his family or serving churches, Daniel loves to play golf and exercise.

American Church Group of North Carolina agent Steve Edlund has 27 years of ministry insurance experience. He’s been a valuable part of our agency’s team since 2007.
Steve is active in the singles ministry at his church and has served on the administrative board and as a Sunday school teacher. Steve has a heart for service and loves working with local churches and ministries in North Carolina.

Lee graduated from East Carolina University with a bachelors and masters in Secondary Mathematics Education. He taught for 8 years in the public high school classroom in eastern North Carolina before joining the Bitner Henry team. He is married to his best friend; Claire, and they have two daughters who love to read books.
Lee is an avid guitar player/collector and Batman fan. In his spare time he enjoys DIY projects and cooking.
Christine is a sixth-generation resident of Western North Carolina and has a deep love for the region and the people who live, work, and worship here. A former real estate agent with 20 years’ experience, she has transitioned her skills into Insurance Sales and Service.
She and her husband Wally, and their children Carlie and Levi enjoy exploring new places, riding horses, hunting, or simply spending time as a family. She is an active member of her church and their children’s ministry and volunteers in local schools with her local Credit Union.
